Project WILD

I attended Project WILD in September. I enjoyed Project Wild because of how interactive and engaging it was. This professional development was free and I received a  book of lessons at the end of it. My favorite activity was "O Deer." For this activity, we had to go outside and half of us were deer and the other half were resources. The resources consisted of food, water and shelter. When Sarah, the facilitator, said go,  the deer had to skip and find their resource. Whatever deer didn't make it ultimately ended up dying that winter. Sarah was making a chart after each round. Each round represented a winter. The chart was interesting to look at because you could see how the deer and resources fluctuate each winter. Project WILD was a fun time where I got to bond with my classmates. Graduation time was my second favorite part of the afternoon. When we were receiving our professional development certificates, our names were called one by one and everyone clapped. It was a day full of laughter, learning and fun!
