Groups 1, 2 and 4 Fieldwork Reflection

      Everyone did an excellent job of making their lessons come alive. Group one was Katie, Kristen, Rachel, and Amanda. Group 2 was Alex, Nicole Cline, Anna, and Megan. Group 4 was Nessiah, Alisha, Allie, and Rebecca. Group 1 taught their lessons on earth cycles. Group 2 taught about the inner planets, and group 4 talked about technology and rovers. Each lesson was similar in that all groups introduced a character to the fourth graders. Our group created Astronaut Annie, where as one group created Alien Fred, and Brittany Summer. Group 4 incorporated a scene from Toy Story and used Buzz Lightyear as their main character. Group one did very well to kick off fieldwork. No one had gone before them, and they still did an awesome job. I just wish all teachers spoke more during the lessons. Job well done group 1! Group 2 also presented their lesson very well. Group 2 communicated well and executed what they wanted to say nicely. The students were very interested in the rovers that group 4 talked about. The homemade telescopes were a great touch! I am very impressed with everyone's lessons. This was the first time we had to teach in a group. I know we were all nervous, but you really could not tell. Everyone went up there with confidence and knew their material well. Our class has become so close this year, and I can't wait to see the creative lessons we all come up with for social studies.
